Agios Prokopios beach, located approximately 5 km away from Naxos Town and 4 km from the Port, is one of the most popular beaches of the island. It has been awarded the Blue Flag multiple times, and was listed among the best beaches in Greece and Europe.

Its 1.5 km-long golden seashore is characterised by its crystalline waters and thick sand, and is protected from the island's strong winds, making the waters almost always calm.

The beach is mostly organised, with sunbeds and umbrellas, although the section near the namesake chapel on the western edge of the coast is unorganised, leaving its beauty unspoiled.

On the beach, you can find beach bars, watersports facilities and a small village behind the sand dunes, with hotels, restaurants, cafes, mini markets, and bars. Moreover, there are salt lakes in the area with a unique pink colour, teeming with birds and other wildlife. Agios Prokopios beach can be reached by car or bus from Naxos Town.
