Agios Sostis is situated at the northernmost point of Kythnos and is renowned for its charming beauty and seclusion. It is named after the small nearby church. Its seabed is a favorite for divers each year, due to its mesmerizing underwater environment. Despite its northerly location, it is sheltered from the winds of the Aegean Sea because of its southeastern orientation. The beach is adorned with quaint new cottages, which create a picturesque Mediterranean atmosphere.

Agios Sostis beach in Kythnos is a long stretch of shoreline, consisting mainly of pebbles and sand. In the middle of the beach there are a few trees for shade from the scorching sun. As the beach is not organized, you must come with all the equipment you need. In the middle of the beach there is a small rocky peninsula, which divides the beach into two parts. The smaller one, located on the left, is more secluded and remote, making it a perfect spot for those who wish to enjoy some privacy away from the more popular beaches of Kolonas and Loutra. To get there, take the path near the small church at the edge of Agios Sostis beach and within three minutes you will be there.

Agios Sostis church stands out in the beach, its white color adding a touch of the Cycladic. It is a must-see for travelers, as inside is a stunning old painting of the Saint and a wonderful wood carving. From the church, you can admire the whole beach with its azure waters and white sand. It is the perfect place to take a wide-angle shot of the beach.
