The seaside village of Vasiliki is located in the southern part of Lefkada, about 22 km from Nydri and 38 km from the capital of the island.

As you approach Vasiliki, the view is noticeably different from that of the western shores, but remains just as magnificent. The landscape towards the bay of the village (known as Ponti on the right) with windsurfing exudes an absolute romance, which is sure to move any visitor. Here is the epicenter of water sports.

The area of Vasiliki consists mainly of two parts: the village of Vasiliki, which is located near the port, and the area of Ponti, which was developed later. Among them, there is also an organized campsite for those who want to camp.

In Vasiliki and Ponti there are many accommodation options available, such as rooms for rent and hotels, and you will also find several taverns and restaurants.

The most lively spot, both day and night, is the picturesque port of Vasiliki, where you will find many tourist souvenir shops, as well as cafes offering ice cream and sweets.

During the day, ferries depart from the port to the nearby beach of Agiofyli, which is also accessible via a dirt road that starts at the edge of the village. There are also regular ferry routes to Kefalonia and Ithaca.

Vasiliki beach has pebbles on the shore, but inland it quickly becomes sandy, with shallow water.

Vasiliki is famous as one of the top beaches of the Mediterranean for windsurfing, thanks to the special wind conditions. Tourists from different countries, lovers of water sports gather here, creating an international atmosphere.
