Description

Achillio is one of the most famous royal palaces in Europe and perhaps the most important architectural attraction of Corfu. The mansion was built in 1890 with the exclusive funding of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who dedicated it to Achilles, from where its name comes. Its surroundings are decorated with statues inspired by ancient Greek mythology.
