The Antonides beach is situated on the south-eastern side of the island, close to the quaint Panagia Kanala village. It is located in a small bay just west of the Akrotiri Kanala area, which is abundant in pine trees. At the opposite end of the peninsula are Megali Ammos and Ammoudaki beaches.

Antonides Beach is situated at the far end of the Panagia Kanala peninsula. Its shoreline is a mixture of sand and pebbles, with a rocky seabed beginning at the beachfront. To the left and right of the hard rocks, visitors can access the crystal clear waters without having to traverse the slippery slab.

One rarely finds families at the beach of Antonides, Kythnos, as the only way to access it is through a ninety-stair path. Along the trail, dry stone walls and private residences can be seen. The beach is known for its Armiriki trees, their white-painted trunks a common sight in Kythnos. These trees offer shade and benches nearby, making umbrellas and chairs unnecessary due to the numerous stairs.

The beach behind the trees is where you can spot some fishing boats moored in front of a dry stone barrier that follows the coastline. At the western end of the bay is a bare hill which slopes down to meet the sea with a series of stone slabs. Further east, one can find the Kanala settlement, comprising of holiday homes, permanent residences, and some rooms.
