Kalo Leivadi beach Kythnos #438

Description

Kalo Livadi beach can be found at the southeastern side of Kythnos, in front of the settlement of the same name. To get there one needs to drive on a dirt road, relatively well-maintained, for a few kilometers.

This secluded spot is ideal for families with young children as it has a sandy shore and a seabed of sand and large rocks. There are two sandy passages to the sea between the rocks. Big tamarix trees are scattered across the beach, providing shade. The small village of Kalo Livadi adds to the tranquil atmosphere. This beach is not organized so visitors should come prepared with all the necessary items. Boaters can dock at the nearby pier.
