Description
Sikinos is one of the most untouched islands of the Cyclades and is an ideal destination for those who want to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Alopronia is the central beach of Sikinos, in the bay of the same name, where the port is also located.
Its name came from the words als + provision, which means care for the sea.
Large wide and sandy with transparent crystal clear waters wins every visitor.
It is suitable for families with small children because its waters are quite shallow.
It has quite a few tamarind trees at the back which provide natural shade and also has a few umbrellas and benches.
There is plenty of free space for those who wish to place their own equipment.
On the right side and above the beach there are cafes, restaurants serving good food and rooms for rent.
The beach has easy access and is one of the three beaches on the island that can be reached by car.
That is why it is preferred by most locals and tourists.
You will also see ducks on the beach!
