Description
One of the surviving towers of this type is the Tower of Bourgas, located southeast of the village of Melissourgos.
The tower has not been well preserved, with only one wall still standing. There is no additional historical information about it, but it is likely that it was built around the 14th century, similar to most of these monastic towers.
Originally, the tower is estimated to have stood about 10 meters tall.
