Description

On the charming islet, on the south side of the island, is the justly famous beach of Simos.

The beach is characterized by its warm blue-green waters, its golden-white fine sand, its impressive seabed and its dunes that reach almost 10 m in height.

Simos is essentially two beaches (Fragos and Sarakiniko) facing each other, creating a magical landscape of exotic beauty.

At one end of the beach, an organized campsite has been created with many facilities and then the beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, but you will also find unexploited tourist spots for swimming.

Access to Elafonissos is easy, either by private vehicle following the route to Tripoli - Sparti where after Sparti you continue to Monemvasia and after passing Molaus you turn towards Pounta - Elafonissos, or by the Lakonia KTEL.

The island of Elafonisos is about 700 meters from the coast of Pountas, and your transport to it is undertaken by ferryboats, where they run frequently and the journey time is less than 10 minutes.
